Timeline for Competing Teams

This timeline outlines key dates and deadlines for teams participating in the СÖíÊÓƵ Stock Pitch Competition. Teams are responsible for meeting all deadlines and monitoring communications from the competition organizers.

Ticker Selection Window

  • Monday, January 19, 2026 – Opens at 8:00 a.m.
    The ticker selection window opens at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19. Ticker selection will be completed using a Qualtrics survey, which will open at that time. Tickers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the order in which survey submissions are received. The survey link will be distributed to teams by the competition organizers and will also be available on the СÖíÊÓƵ Stock Pitch Competition website.
  • No duplicate tickers (stocks) will be permitted. Each team must submit its top three stock choices through the survey. Tickers will be assigned based on availability at the time each submission is received.
  • Friday, January 23, 2026 – Closes at 5:00 p.m. The ticker selection window closes. Teams may continue to register after this date; by emailing the org committee members. However, teams that register after the close of the ticker selection window will not be included in the ticker selection announcement on Monday, January 26.

Registration Deadline

Friday, January 23, 2026
Official registration for the competition closes. Teams must be fully registered by this date to remain eligible to compete.

Submission Deadline

  • Friday, February 13, 2026: Financial models are due. Teams must submit their completed financial models by this date for evaluation and scoring by СÖíÊÓƵ finance faculty prior to the competition. Faculty evaluation will focus on whether the valuation model functions at a basic level, uses authentic data from credible and verifiable sources, and clearly identifies and documents key assumptions. Faculty will assess the existence and transparency of assumptions, not the validity of the assumptions themselves.
  • Wednesday, February 18: Presentation slides are due. Teams are encouraged to use Canva or Google Slides, as these platforms allow for continued edits and facilitate sharing with judges and event staff during the competition.

Day of Competition

Friday, February 20, 2026: СÖíÊÓƵ Stock Pitch Competition Event Day. Teams should be prepared to present according to the event format and presentation guidelines on СÖíÊÓƵ’s campus.
