The СÖíÊÓƵ Concert Band is dedicated to performing music of substance and developing ensemble skills and individual artistic excellence. The goal of this ensemble is to explore and present high quality wind band literature, developing and expanding fundamental ensemble skills, including but not limited to: tone quality, balance, blend, intonation, phrasing, and rhythm, using wind band literature as a platform to achieve this goal.
Concert Band rehearses three times a week (MWF, 3:00pm – 3:50pm), with two to three performances each semester. The ensemble is open to all students on campus (including non-majors and non-traditional students) who play one of the following instruments:
